Type: Annual membership meeting & officer elections
The annual meeting of the BAOC general membership will be conducted at the Shell Ridge Event on Saturday, May 20. The meeting shall take place at 1:00 near the epunch download area.
Please plan to attend this important meeting. We will be voting to fill all four officer positions — President, Event Coordinator, Secretary, and Treasurer. A report will be made on the state of the club, and there will be a time for any member to make comments or suggestions pertaining to the club.
The Board of Directors has recommended the following slate of candidates to be voted on at the meeting:
- President: Nick Corsano
- Event Coordinator: Brad Wetmore
- Secretary: Jim Waite
- Treasurer: Steve Beuerman
That slate was proposed by a Nominating Committee with these members: Scott Aster (Chair), Nick Corsano, Nancy Lindeman, and George Minarik.
Our bylaws state that "Any Club member in good standing may also be nominated [at the annual meeting], or a nomination in advance of the annual meeting may be submitted to the Secretary."

Driving Directions
From I-680 in Walnut Creek, exit onto Ygnacio Valley Road, and head east approximately 2.3 miles to Walnut Avenue (NOT Walnut Boulevard). Turn right on Walnut Avenue, and go 1.5 miles to Oak Grove. Turn right onto Oak Grove, and immediately veer right onto Castle Rock Road. Northgate High School is on the right about 0.5 miles along Castle Rock Road. Park in the school lot closest to the hills, past the buildings. Registration and starts will be about a ten-minute walk from the lot along Castle Rock Road, right on Comistas Drive, and left on Hanna Grove Trail.
