Unfortunately, a section of the road up to the Tamarancho camp suffered a rock slide earlier this year, closing it, and the Scouts got County permission to fix it too late to have the road open by November 3rd! I got the call from the Scout Director today, and he told me the road won't open until close to Thanksgiving, if then.

We are not giving up on the Goat however! Course Setter Mikkel Conradi and I are planning on making the event happen early next year, possibly in January or February. As soon as we lock down a date, we will advertise it to everyone.

Sorry for the postponement, but as Mikkel told me, the Goat might be a little gentler with cooler conditions and short, green grass, instead of the heat wave and long stickers we are dealing with now.
