Type: Annual membership meeting and election of officers
The Annual General Meeting of the Bay Area Orienteering Club will be held April 13 at the U.C. Berkeley event beginning at 1:30. (Note that this is an earlier time than originally posted in the event announcement.)
At the meeting, members in good standing will vote for the Club's officers. The Nominating Committee has proposed, and the Board has approved, the following slate of candidates for office:
- President: Jeff Lanam (incumbent)
- Event Coordinator: Rex Winterbottom (incumbent)
- Treasurer: Sharon Evans
- Secretary: Vicki Woolworth (incumbent)
Nominations for these offices may be made at the meeting.
The Nominating Committee is Trinka Gillis (chair), George Minarik, Stephen Granger-Bevan, and Lori Huberman.
After the election, the status of the Club's incorporation and 501(c)(3) application will be presented. Other topics that may arise will also be discussed. If you have items for the agenda, please contact .
The meeting will be held at the assembly area for the day's orienteering event: the Barrows Hall Courtyard on the campus of the University of California, Berkeley, near Sather Gate and Sproul Plaza (see the event page for detailed location information). I hope to see you there.
