Skyline Ridge Open Space Preserve

Reforestation Project

Date: (Sat.) Nov. 5, 2005
Location: Palo Alto, CA
Event Director: - 206.913.3790
Type: Plant acorns above Horseshoe Lake

The Saturday after our O' meet at Monte Bello and Skyline Ridge, we have a great opportunity to give back to these wonderful preserves. BAOC has arranged a volunteer day during which twenty of us will plant acorns at Skyline Ridge.

We will work from 9:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Afterward, BAOC will provide a picnic lunch and cold beer and beverages to all workers (see below for details).

If you would like to participate, please indicate your interest by contacting Terry Farrah, the event director, using the contact info above. You do not need to commit until Tuesday, November 1; however, please write/call now if you think you'd like to come, so that we can gauge the interest level.

The event may be cancelled in case of inclement weather. Call the Project Update Line, (650) 691-2150 Ext 4, after 7:45 or 8:00 a.m. on event day to find out if it has been cancelled. You can check the forecast at Weather.com (http://www.weather.com/activities/other/other/weather/weekend.html?locid=USCA0896&from=tenDay_topnav_undeclared).
