The weather was threatening, but in BAOC stoic style the meet still took place as scheduled. After hanging controls in driving rain and wind on Saturday, course setter Steve Gregg sagely advised setting up registration and epunch in the parking lot. Although this was a little inconvenient for the sprinters, who had to go back to the parking lot between Prologue and Chase, most were happy to get back to their cars to get out of the rain while waiting.
Francois Leonard maintained first place from the Prologue to win the combined, with Mikkel Conradi closing the gap for second, and Rex Winterbottom moving up from sixth in the Prologue to finish third overall. Victoria Stevens was the first female finisher, coming in fifth. Newcomer Carey Ballard enjoyed the White course so much he also did the Yellow course.
I can't thank folks enough for coming out on a rainy day and offering to help. We took advantage of Mark Blair's injury to keep him cooped up in the back of his car, running the epunch system without much if any help. While there wasn't a demand for beginner's clinics, it was great to have Rex on standby in case any newcomers arrived. James Wilson ran registration until Judy Koehler took over so James could run. Judy picked up some controls as well, as did Greg Ehrensing. Joe Scarborough not only escorted visitors from England, but also picked up some controls after observing the Chase start. Dwight Freund was responsible for vetting, and a big thanks to Ruth Kadel for being ready to step in when needed.

In the combined results, placements associated with each individual course are the placements that apply to everyone who ran that course, either as a first course or a second course.
