The thick throngs returned for another Piedmont/Oakland hills Hallowe'en O. The trick or treaters, that is. We were surprised that more folks didn't come, since it was a Saturday and not a weekday like it usually is. Bud and Carol come from over 3 hours away because they love it so much! Next year, it's a Sunday, so come on out!
The decorations were a little less than in the fatter economic times, some of the traditional powerhouses weren't set up as much or at all, but some newbies stepped up to the plate. There was a tricky layout to the course, making it hard to get all the controls in a reasonable amount of time. Everybody skipped some. Good stories were shared about the fun on the course over good food from Rolling Dunes.
