Inventory of E-Punch Units
(Valid as of March 3, 2020)
BAOC has three sets of controls: two with the small, blue, BSF8 units, and one with the larger, black, BSF7 units.
In the tables below, "X" indicates an assigned number, blank indicates an unassigned number, "—" indicates a number that we will never assign because it could be misread upside down (i.e., 66, 68, 86, 89, 98, and 99).
BSF8 Units
Field BSF8 Units
We have 83 numbered control units in Set #1 and 80 numbered control units in Set #2, plus duplicates of #31 and #100 (which are not included in the count). These duplicates are available for extra first and last controls where there may be more than one runner approaching these controls at the same time. The assigned numbers are shown below, where the traditional numbers assigned in the two sets are 31 and 120, and the score-type numbers assigned in the two sets are 31 and 110.

Stadium BSF8 Units
There are two (2) sets in gray plastic boxes. Each set contains the following:
- Two (2) each of CLEAR and CHECK.
- Two (2) each of START and FINISH.
- One Time Master
BSF7 Units
Field BSF7 Units
There are 55 (bigger, older) BSF7 field units with numbers 200–254.
The BSF7 units are kept by the Juniors section of the club, and are available for use by the rest of the club upon request. The Junior units are targeted for loan to small training events, especially those involving youth. These events typically are in smaller spaces and the burden of carrying the extra weight of the larger units is less of a factor.
In the table below, "X" indicates an assigned number, blank indicates an unassigned number.
