Work has been progressing on website improvements. The President reported that the brokerage account is now in active use and earning interest on the Club’s savings.
2025 Event Schedule
The Event Coordinator welcomed Vicki Woolworth as the new Regional Event Coordinator for the East Bay, and Rex Winterbottom as the Regional Event Coordinator for Sierra/Tahoe.
Approximately 27 days of orienteering are planned for 2025, including a 2-day NRE at Calero in February, the annual Summer Series, a multi-day Tahoe event in the summer, and a 3-day fall NRE in the East Bay. This is the most ambitious schedule in many years, and will require considerable support from volunteers.
The Board discussed the challenges of securing East Bay permits, options for new local Sprint venues, and the possibility of a Sprint event in the San Luis Obispo area.

No further feedback was presented on the Event Quality Director’s current proposal for an updated Brown-course policy. A vote will be taken via email.

The Treasurer invited suggestions for the upcoming budget from all Club Members before the next Board meeting, which will focus on finances.
There were no email votes conducted since the previous Board Meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 PM.
Respectfully submitted,
John Richardson
