Unfortunately, a section of the road up to the Tamarancho camp suffered a rock slide earlier this year, closing it, and the Scouts got County permission to fix it too late to have the road open by November 3rd! I got the call from the Scout Director today, and he told me the road won't open until close to Thanksgiving, if then.

We are not giving up on the Goat however! Course Setter Mikkel Conradi and I have rescheduled the event on January 12, 2025. That date has been confirmed!

Sorry for the postponement, but as Mikkel told me, the Goat might be a little gentler with cooler conditions and short, green grass, instead of the heat wave and long stickers we are dealing with now.
