The 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Bay Area Orienteering Club will be held at the Point Pinole event on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 1:00–2:00 PM. At this meeting, club members will elect officers for the coming year, hear reports on the state of the club, and discuss matters of interest to the orienteering community. Updates to the agenda will be posted here closer to the meeting.
The AGM is the opportunity for all club members to get insight into the activities of the club, and participate in discussion about its direction. I hope to see many new as well as familiar faces there.
All BAOC members are welcome — we are looking forward to a good turnout. In appreciation of your attendance, there will be a drawing for a CalOFest O-Shirt and maybe a special treat. 😊

- Parking Note
- For the first time in over a decade, I had to pay a $3 parking fee at Point Pinole today. So, it is very possible that you will have to pay a fee when you arrive on Sunday.
- A fee is required only when the booth is staffed, so if you arrive early enough, you might be able to get in without paying. But be aware that it could happen!

Election of Officers
At the meeting, members in good standing will vote for the Club's 2024 officers. The Nominating Committee, chaired by Steve Haas, has put forward the following slate of candidates:
- President: Stephanie Maclean (current Vice President)
- Vice President: Tapio Karras
- Event Coordinator: Graham Brew (incumbent)
- Secretary: John Richardson (incumbent)
- Treasurer: Gary Kraght (incumbent)
These candidates have been recommended by the Board of Directors. However, further nominations may be made from the floor at the meeting.
