Come out and join us on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31, for our event in Knowland Park in Oakland.

This is a good time and place to invite your family, friends, and co-workers to join us.

Scout, school, home school, alumni, singles, and other groups of 8 or more, please let us know how many in your group ahead of time, so that we will be sure to print enough maps and have extra clinic instructors for your group.

The short clinics for beginners will begin at 9:30 and 10:00.

We are having a Two-for-One special. When you pay for one course, you can run a second course for free. Just tell the registration folks what courses you want to run, and then you just need to change your e-stick before you run your second course. The registration, E-punch station, Start, and Finish are all in one place, so we think many people will choose to try a second course.

We are planning on having White, Yellow, Sprint, and Orange courses.

Parking is $6 per car. You might want to park outside the zoo entrance and ride in with others.

The registration area will be up the hill at the far end of the parking lot. The restrooms are just past the zoo entrance, before you head up the hill to the registration area. If you want to use the restrooms on your way to registration, park by the restrooms to use them, and then drive the rest of the way up the hill to the end of the parking lot.

Park your car and walk up the trail to the registration and start area.

Some of you might like to visit the Oakland Zoo (http://www.oaklandzoo.org) after our event.

Jay is planning a COOL introduction for juniors that day. This will be a good day for juniors to come out and invite their friends to enjoy the day with them.

Please let know if you would like to volunteer to help with vetting, pre-running, starts, finishes, clinics, etc.
