Starts: 9:30 A.M. to 12 Noon with assigned early start times for those who preregistered

Special rules:
- Off trail use: Can go off trail.
- One-way trails: There are a few one-way trails near the Starts and Finishes. The one-way trails are marked with arrows wherever the trails are shown to intersect other groomed trails. Our courses will use some of these trails, but only in the intended direction of the trail.
Map: This map was originally created for the 2006 ski-O season with 40-foot contours, but was updated for the 2007 season with 5-meter contours and better off-trail details. Check-In
Everybody must check in each day to get their start pass, trail pass (if purchased during preregistration), and to sign waivers. Anybody who has not preregistered can register at the Registration desk. Check-in and registration are upstairs in the main building. Ski rentals are downstairs.

Elevations: Competitive area is between 6600 and 7300 feet in elevation.
Total distance in groomed trails: 110 km
Rentals: This resort rents skis. Otherwise, you can rent skis at Pacos (Truckee) or other ski stores.
Waxing: In the past, you could make use of an indoor waxing bench in the rental area to wax your own skis. You need to have your own tools and wax.
Lessons: Lessons are available.
Lodging and Dining
In general, the nearby lodgings (for Truckee) include the a couple of hotels and numerous cabins rented by local realtors. You can also stay in Soda Springs, which is only 15–20 minutes away.
Do your grocery shopping in Truckee, where large grocery stores abound. There is at least one small grocery store with a limited stock in Soda Springs.
For dining, there are a numerous restaurants in Truckee, especially in the old-town section.
Driving Directions
From I-80 (in Truckee, which is about 100 miles east of Sacramento), exit at Donner Pass Road (Exit 184). Turn left onto Donner Pass Road and go 0.5 miles to Northwoods Blvd (signal). Turn left onto Northwoods and go about three miles to Fjord Road (you'll see a sign for the cross country area before you reach the road). Turn right onto Fjord and go a couple hundred feet to Alder Creek Road. Turn left onto Alder Creek and go about 1/2 mile to the cross country parking area on the left.
