2007 US Ski Orienteering Championships
The U.S. Ski Orienteering Championship events (day 6 and day 7 of the Ski-O Week) are open to everyone for general competition, but only those who meet both of the following eligibility standards may compete for the title of U.S. Champion and receive U.S. Championship medals:
- You are a USOF member in good standing.
(If you want to join USOF, go to the USOF Web site (http://www.us.orienteering.org/) and click "Join Us", or simply click here (http://www.us.orienteering.org/JoinUs.html).) - You meet one of the following citizenship or residency requirements:
- You are a U.S. Citizen and a citizen of no other country.
- You are a U.S. Citizen with dual citizenship, and reside primarily in the U.S.
- You are a U.S. citizen with dual citizenship, reside primarily outside the U.S., and have not yet and agree not to compete for a championship title in another country during the current calendar year.
- You have permanent residence status in the U.S. (commonly referred to as "green card carrier").
- You are a full-time student in the U.S. holding a current student visa.
If you need clarifications or rulings based on the above criteria, submit your request to USOF headquarters in writing at least 30 days prior to the championships (by December 27, 2006).
