BAOC Annual General Meeting

Date: (Sun.) Apr. 22, 2007
Location: Sunol, CA
Event Directors: - 650.906.9672, - 650.248.9595
Type: Annual membership meeting & officer elections

BAOC Members,

I know many of you are looking forward to our next meet, Sunday April 22 at Sunol. Sunol in the springtime is one of the Bay Area's most beautiful settings, and Kelly Wells and Gary Carpenter always put on a top-notch event.

I hope that you will try to arrange your run (and your volunteer shift) so that you can attend the club's Annual General Meeting (AGM), being held at 1:30 that afternoon near the registration area. This will be the club's most participatory annual meeting ever. The AGM has always been an opportunity for the President and the Board of Directors to talk to the membership, and there are some interesting developments we would like to discuss. I believe, however, that it is even more important for us to listen to the membership. So please come ready to tell us what you think the club is doing well, and where we can improve.

The agenda items are as follows:

  1. Approval of the minutes from the 2006 Annual General Meeting.
  2. Election of officers—the following nominees are recommended by the Board of Directors:
    President – Nick Corsano
    Event Coordinator – Brad Wetmore
    Treasurer – Steve Beuerman
    Secretary – Trinka Gillis

Additional nominations will be accepted at the meeting.

  3. President's Report.
  4. Treasurer's Report.
  5. Small group discussions on club strengths, areas for improvement, and priorities.
  6. Recap of small group discussions.
  7. General questions.

If you wish to submit additional agenda items for the meeting, please send them to (BAOC Secretary), and we'll add them to the discussion on Sunday.

See you at Sunol!

President
