Just a few notes from the meeting:
The Board voted to approve the 2015 budget, including a modest increase in event fees for adults (not youth) for most types of entries by up to $3 and to raise the rental fee for E-sticks to $5.
A Junior Training Grant was awarded to Katie Petersen to attend the selection races for the 2015 USA JWOC team, taking place in Kentucky later this month. The Junior Training Grant program helps rising juniors cover costs for travel and participation in training and competitions. Ready to up your game? Contact for more information or to apply.
BAOC's Annual General Meeting (AGM) is tentatively scheduled for April 12 at the Point Pinole event. Hang around after your course and vote on next year's officers. Want to run for office, or have suggestions? Contact Nominating Committee chair .
Event highlights for 2015: Registration has opened for the A-meet at Joe Grant on April 25-26, and an A-meet is planned for the Tahoe area in September with four events in three days.
