Highlights of the Meeting

Jay Hann moved that BAOC bid on the Intercollegiate Championships for 2011, to be held in conjunction with the Pacheco A-meet and the Interscholastic Championships. The motion was seconded and passed on October 23, 2010 by email vote.
Trinka Gillis announced the new Volunteer Coordinator, Jim Fish. He's been contributing lots of ideas online and plans to have a volunteer table at meets.
Next year's planning calendar has been drafted and is available online. Check it out and let Alex know when you can help out.
Mark Blair moved to nominate Rosemary Johnson for the position of E-punch Director. The motion was seconded and passed.
Jeff Lanam will chair the nominating committee. If you or someone you know would be interested in a Board position, please contact Jeff.
The Board voted to postpone the budget approval until January 15, 2011, to allow Kelly to obtain additional input.
Philipp Kopisch came to the Board meeting to thank the club for helping sponsor his Eagle Award Project (a permanent O-course at Bayfront Park) for which he was awarded the Environmental Quality Award by the City of Menlo Park.
Jeff Lanam is considering the option of an electronic Bulletin instead of printed.
The next Board meeting is scheduled for March 8.
