Practice Session at
Stanford University, Palo Alto

Wednesday, May 5, 1999

Wednesday Evening Practice, 5:30-6:15pm starts.

The first Wednesday evening practice session this year will be held May 5 at Stanford University. The format will be a window-O in which your map shows only through "windows" around each control site. You have to navigate the areas between the windows by taking bearings, counting paces, and compensating for occasional obsticles that you might encounter. Start and finish (and the obvious bail-out point) will be at the Hoover Tower, which will be shown on the map. Show up between 5:30 and 6:15 pm to get your individual start time. After we finish, we'll go elsewhere for a bite to eat. Advanced beginners are welcome.
