After a winter season of crawling up the steep slopes and slogging through the mud, come enjoy a change of terrain at Stanford! As one attendee at last year's event said,"it's a chance to turn on the afterburners and really run". For those of you who remember spending many minutes doing map corrections before going out on your course, the map has been massively revised since last year! [The new map made its debut at the holiday event last December.] Courses include a Start-O, regular White, Yellow and Pink courses, and a Motala. Registration will be at Tresidder Student Union which is at the south part of the main campus area,near Braun Music Center and Dinkelspiel Auditorium.
BAOC will hold its membership meeting during the afternoon at Stanford (see a related announcement elsewhere in this Bulletin).
As this meet attracts lots of different groups, the meet itself will remain on its normal schedule, but those of you who wish to attend the BAOC meeting should plan on running a bit earlier.
Directions: From I-280, take Page Mill Road east towards the Bay. At the second light, turn left onto Junipero Serra.Go through one light and turn right at the second light onto Campus Drive. Look for O' signs. Follow Campus Drive to Mayfield Ave. Take the left onto Mayfield,and follow it into the large parking lot (on the right hand side,after the the road bends).
From U.S. 101, follow signs for Stanford University onto Embarcadero.Continue straight through several lights onto the campus, and look for O' signs. Follow Embarcadero to Campus Drive. Take a left onto Campus Drive, and follow it until Mayfield Ave. Take the right onto Mayfield, and follow it into the large parking lot (on the right hand side, after the road bends).

Annual General Meeting
The annual general meeting of the membership will be held at noon on Sunday, April 18th, at the Stanford event. The location of the meeting will be announced at the event, but if the weather is nice, we will probably hold it near the registration area. We are trying to arrange for a meeting room in case of rain.
The main order of business will be the election of officers for next year. The following people have indicated that they will be running for office:
Scott Aster, president
Harold and Penny DeMoss, event coordinators
George Minarik, treasurer
Meg Gerstner, secretary
Others may be nominated from the floor. If one or more of the offices is contested, there will be a secret ballot.
I will also give a summary of the club's activities for the last year. If there are any other items that you would like to place on the agenda, please contact me.
We are planning on having a social event after the meeting. The club will be providing some refreshments. Please plan on attending.
