Come to the FIRST event of the LAST year of the 20th century! This annual event will take us through lovely, winding streets in the hills above Redwood City.
We'll have White, Yellow, and 2 Score-O (short and long) courses with a Question and Answer format for the controls, so be sure to have a pen or pencil handy. Starts for all courses will be held from 10 am to 12:30. Beginners clinics will be held throughout the morning as needed. There will NOT be a mass start for the Score-O events. The event will be held rain or shine.
All courses will be routed on streets in Redwood City, so all children must be accompanied by parents or guardians while orienteering.
Directions: The start/finish will be at the Roy Cloud School. To get there, take I-280 to the Farm Hill Blvd exit. Go north on Farm Hill about one mile to the intersection with Emerald Hill Rd, and turn left. Go three blocks, turn right onto Red Oak Way, and then make an immediate left into the school parking lot. If the parking lot is full, there is ample street parking. Restroom facilities are available at the school.
