Shoreline, Mountain View

It is getting to be that time of year again for the annual EggO event at Shoreline park in Mountain View. I will try to live up to  the standard set by the Jacobi's last year.  

This years event will consist of two courses and if the maps can be found, two StartOs. I think that this event is the clubs best  event for kids as three of the courses will be short enough to enjoy with them.

The preliminary course statistics are:

• White 8 controls 1.8k 10 m Standard format.
  • This course will follow paved and gravel trails so even those with baby  carriages can enjoy this one.
• Pink 14 controls 3.5k 20m Memory format
  • You get a fragment of the map and a clue and must find the next segment

Starts will be from 10 to 12
Beginners clinics will be held at 9:30 and 10:30.

So come and join the fun.

I could use help running the starts and finishes (they are in the same place and holding a beginners clinic so if you can help please let me know.

Directions to Shoreline

Take 101 to Shoreline Blvd and exit. Follow the signs to Shoreline Blvd and go North. (From 101 North bound you will make a left turn onto Shoreline) Take Shoreline past the ampitheatre to the park entrance. There is no fee but stop at the entrance anyway and say Hi to the Ranger. Then follow the road to the end PAST the golf course to the end of the road and park. Registration will be to the right of the buildings.
