Because of park restrictions, the courses at this event will be run strictly on trails. The controls will be pie plates. Since the ranger wants to pre-approve routes, it will be difficult to offer much in the way of route choices. However, I can promise a good workout.

We will reserve the Werder Shelter, which is located near the central playground area, just past the main entry. Thus, if it rains, there will be a place to dry off.

The following courses will be available:

    White 2.0 km 30 m climb
    Long White 3.0 km 180 m climb
Very long White 7.8 km 380 m climb
"New Year's Resolution Tester" White 10.4 km 575 m climb

From the north (San Francisco) or the south (San Jose), use Highway 280. Turn off at the Woodside Road (Highway 84) exit. Turn westbound (towards Woodside). Proceed approximately 1.5 miles through the Town of Woodside. Turn right on Kings Mountain Road. Proceed up the hill to the main park entrance.
