The Peninsula/South Bay edition of National Orienteering Day will be held at Bayfront Park in Menlo Park. Bayfront Park is a very scenic waterfront setting, with gentle, rolling hills and mostly open terrain. This event is targeted at newcomers to orienteering, and the terrain is perfect for White and Yellow courses.

Three courses will be offered:

Participants may go out on more than one course if they choose.

Instructional beginner's clinics will be offered continuously during the event. Registration will open at 9:30 am, with starts offered from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm.

Special discounted rates will be in effect: $6 per group, $5 for an individual.

From the Peninsula, take Highway 101 to the Marsh Road East exit. Stay to the left so that you can go straight ahead into the park at the traffic signal where Marsh turns right into Bayfront Expressway.

From the East Bay, cross the Dumbarton Bridge. Go to the fifth traffic light and turn right into the park.
