Thanks to Zoran Krivokapic for the new Presidio map. It gave us some new venues for controls. On a beautiful and warm Sunday we had 145 entries and 280 people try out the orienteering courses. I met a lot of newcomers to the sport and some of the usual suspects. All had a good time based on the feedback. There were a few glitches. Long orange controls 2, 3, 4 were slightly off and thanks to Evan Custer and Ian Tidswell they were quickly corrected. Controls 2 and 9 on the same course were missing and were replaced. All were given credit. All other controls were OK except that White 1 at the Log Cabin was removed for a short time due to a concern about orienteers overrunning the restrooms . Things were worked out. I hope that all new comers will continue orienteering and join BAOC. Thanks to the following who made this event work well.
