The event's story is here. E-punch results are here. Unit #37 (Control 4 on the Short, Control 6 on the Medium course) was not functioning (but not dead, as it kept screaming at ever-diminishing intensity all through Monday morning.) The penalty was
2 minutes for (40m < error < 100m), 4 minutes for (error > 100 m)
A maximum penalty was added to those who missed the turn-off to the last control but otherwise completed the course. Runners' maps will be available from Ev and Jean Beuerman at future events, or I'd be happy to snail-mail them.
