2. STATE OF THE CLUB - Scott Aster
Scott thanked everyone for coming to a great day of orienteering and the annual meeting and reported on two special events occurring during 2001. The first is a two-day meet at Burton Creek in Tahoe City the weekend of June 16-17. The second is the two-day A-meet and World Ranking Event, "O in the Oaks", planned for the weekend of October 27-28 at Morgan Territory in Livermore. More than 36 individual tasks are required for the A-meet, and volunteers are needed. Please contact Scott if you are interested.
